The Blind Man

He Didn't See it Coming!

Dance of Death: The Blind Man

A blind man tries to walk carefully using his staff, unaware that Death is leading him to his demise. Even though the man thinks that he can figure out the right path and avoid the obstacles with the use of his staff, in fact the path has been chosen for him by Death. I guess he did not see death coming.

As a historical artefact, the diagram is interesting for showing how a blind man would get around in the Middle Ages. As now, he made use of a cane to figure out what was in front of him.
